Good place just a little far

Very clean and comfortable room, good WiFi and the owner was very nice and helpful to us

It is very hard to get there, and it is difficult to find a tricycle around for go to the beach

Simple stay not too far from town.

Clean, easy to rent scooter from owner.

Far from town so you'd need a trike/tuk tuk or rent a scooter. No staff on site if you ever have questions etc.

Amazing

It was a great place to stay, peaceful and cozy. The only thing missing are hangers. It would be a perfect 10 if there were hangers around, so that we can hang our wet clothes. Anyway the place was amazing perfect for travelers who are on a budget.

There should have been hangers, so that the guests can hang their wet clothes after swimming in those beaches near the property.

Nice

As backpackers, the room was perfect. Clean, comfortable bed, even a fridge, and air conditioning. We didn’t need more cause the day anyway we are outside. I would recommend this place for sure.

What was the highlight of HM&B Backpackers Inn

Cozy, comfy backpacker place near the beach but away from the noise!

At first we were a bit disappointed because it was located off beach area and there weren’t any public transport passing the area. We had to flag down a habal2 or a motorbike. After our first adventure getting out of the place, we were able to get contacts to pick us ip from the place. I reco to Anne to place numbers of tricycle Drivers, car rental, habal2 Drivers so guests can contact them directly for transport convenience. Take note that the place is for backpackers. But for a backpacker place, it exceeded my expectations in terms of aesthetics, spaciousness and most of all, cleanliness. You will be able to see all the basic amenities that you will need. By the way, no hot shower but It was ok.

No instructions as to how to get out of the place which can make you panic. Contact numbers of public transport will surely take out the anxiety of guests.

The woman that owns the property was so lovely and helpful.

The woman that owns the property was so lovely and helpful. The room was clean and surrounding areas were quiet although next to the main road.

It was a bit far to walk from the 'town' so I'd suggest renting a bike :)

Nice.

We liked our room. It was al new and very clean. Everything we needed was there. Simpel but good.

You can’t realy see from the outside that you are at the guesthouse. I would recommand to let the host arrange a trycle from the boat to the guesthouse. Than you know for sure you won’t have any trouble finding the place. No worries, she will send you a message about it!

It's pretty close to Alona beach which I really like and...

It's pretty close to Alona beach which I really like and transportation is not bad. You can ride a motorcycle from this location to Alona beach for only 20php.

They do have Wi-Fi connection but it's not that reliable. I really don't mind much. What I'm after is that the place has to be clean and comfortable to sleep in. Considering the price and the location. I would say it's a thumps up!

Very small property with only 3 rooms with private bathroom...

Very small property with only 3 rooms with private bathroom but absolutely sublime. The owner really makes the difference giving all the service you can imagine to make your stay memorable. The whole island out of water, she showed up with water tanks, organise transportation back to the airport, organising a scooter to go around and much more, things to DO NOT underestimate in a small and wild island like that.
